West Hereford Team Ministry

Please pray for the repose of the soul of
His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, 1921–2021

O God,
whose love is boundless
and whose mercies cannot be numbered;
accept our prayers for the soul of your servant
Philip, Duke of Edinburgh,
and grant him an entrance into your heavenly kingdom
of peace, light and joy,
in the fellowship of all your saints;
Jesus Christ our Lord, who died and rose again
and opened the gate of glory,
to whom with you and the Holy Spirit
be praise and honour now and for ever.
Amen.

As we share our recorded Eucharist for this Sunday, we are mindful of the time of National mourning following the death of His Royal Highness the Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. We have included a time of prayer for him, The Queen and the Royal Family to mark this solemn occasion.
Recorded in Breinton Church, by Canon John Simpson prior to the death of the Duke of Edinburgh.

You can leave a message of condolence on the Church of England website, by following this link: https://www.churchofengland.org/remembering-his-royal-highness-prince-philip
