Annual Easter Display
Building on last year’s event, West Hereford Team are running an Easter display trail again this year, with the theme Life and Hope : Jesus is Risen!
Local schools and colleges have already been getting involved by creating their own interpretations of the theme, and their work will be on show as part of the trail. Members of our churches will also be creating a series of Easter displays outside their homes for others to visit.
All the displays will be on show this Easter bank holiday weekend from Saturday 16 April to Tuesday 19 April.
We’d love you to get involved with this event – here’s how you can take part:
- Visit our Easter displays! Next to each display there will be a word from a bible verse. Collect as many words as you can to work out the verse and win a prize. You can find a list of locations below. To claim your prize, please contact the Team Office on 01432 273086 or email office@westherefordteam.org.uk.
- Create an Easter display outside your own home for others to enjoy!
- Make your own mini display (perhaps on a paper plate or in a box) demonstrating what life and hope mean to you. Bring it along to All Saints church between 16 and 19 April where it can be displayed for others to see and enjoy. Lego is also available at the church if you’d prefer to make a model there.
- Paint a rock at Breinton churchyard between 16 and 19 April, to illustrate life and hope. You can take it home with you or add it to our display there. After Easter we’ll hide the rocks around the local area for people to find.
