Marking the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

As we mourn the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the churches of the West Hereford Team would like to offer the following opportunities to pray, reflect or talk:

Holy Trinity will be open between 2.00pm and 6.00pm each day, including today, with a short service of BCP Evening Prayer at 5.30pm. An official Book of Condolence will be available during these times.

All Saints will be open during cafe hours with an area set aside for quiet reflection and a special Mass said TODAY (Friday 9th) at 12.10.

St Nicholas’ will offer a short service of prayer and reflection tomorrow (Saturday 10th) at 12noon, and will remain open until 1.00pm, and on Sunday 11th from the morning service at 11.00am until 2.00pm.

St Michael’s, Breinton will open tomorrow, Saturday 10th, between 10.00 and 2.00pm, and from the service on Sunday morning, 11th at 9.30am until 12noon.

A prayer on the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Gracious God, we give thanks for the life of yuour servant Queen Elizabeth, for her faith and her dedication to duty. Bless our nations as we mourn her death and may her example continue to inspire use; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
